Emma invited to the public library!

October 22nd, 2008 - 6:06 pm KY Time

Howllo Fellow Hound and Public Library Lovers! OMG! Emma has been invited to our public library to talk to children about being blind! She will help me read the Lily book for the first time. As many of you know, Chaps is the guy I take with me because Emma is too frantic. She loves people so much! It is kind of like
GIRL GONE WILD!

Her visit is being planned and it is all very early in the process,
but I had to Brag, I mean Blog about it!!!!

The folks at the library want to bring in some kids that have problems with sight or are blind! Can you imagine how much they will love being in the room with Emma! I am just jubilant! I sure hope we can pull this off. I have worked very hard to make this happen.

Deep breath, deep breath.

I will keep you posted…….

More Cat, Chaps and Emma as a GIRL GONE WILD, later!

This is awesome…..and Emma will be an inspiration to those kids. I think she will enjoy being around them, because she will feel the connection. This will just be one of many ways that she will use her blindness to help others. Our sweet girl…..you’ve only just begun!

Great going, Emma. How generous to share your special gift with kids that will be able to relate to your challenges.

Watch out, Chaps, Emma is going to give you a run for your dog biscuits over who will be the biggest celeb in the family – go get ’em girl. (Sorry Chaps – it’s a girl thing.)

Emma this is marvelous. You will be an inspiration to so many, and fine example as well.

Don’t forget to bring your library card, and check out some reading material. A good murder mystery maybe.
