Thank you all so much. Tears are still falling here at Camp Toast. Boxer came to us May 27 2006 with his 16 year old mama. he was just short of his 15th birthday when he went to the Bridge. he was fearful from living in a garage most of his life and kicked in the rear (he was fearful to go out the door if you were behind him) and skinny oh so very skinny. he was nothing more than a money maker, yep they breed him to his mama and got rid of them because at 16 his mama didn’t have any more babies in her. that is 100% true. i was gifted with the honor to love these two and in a few short months they stoped fighting and grrring and found out hands were for loving touches and there was food lots and lots of food and warm beds. A few months ago Boxer was found to have cancer in his upper jaw. it was taking it’s toll on our sweet boy. We helped him out of this body and know he is whole again and woofin with his mama about the fun days they both had here at Camp Toast. Our hearts are broken but i must say how thankful i am that rescue trusted us and the hounds what they taught us. i am a much better person today beacuse of every loving animal that has given me their paw.
thank you Cat and Emma and Chaps and every one who had such kinds words to write. i truly am thankful.
One more thing Cat you are the sweetest and one of the most kindest women i know. Thank you for being in my life!!!!!

    Dear CT:

It is so good to hear from you. I am so happy that Boxer and his Mom came to you. What a streak of luck for them.

What a sweet story you told of their recovery under loving hands.

You know I feel the same way about you my dear. I know I have a friend for life.

We love you, Cat, Chaps and Emma

I am so sorry to hear about Sir Boxer, but it is wonderful to read about the loving life he had with you and your family. I hope you can find comfort with the fact that he had a wonderful life with you, and has moved on and will still be loved and remembered.
