I was going through a stack of Lily pictures over the weekend. I had them set aside to scan into my system. I decided to just take a picture of the picture. It is much quicker and the result turned out really well. This is Lily about 2 months after I found her wandering the streets of Newport, KY. I was setting up a photo shoot for my Christmas card. I had Chloe sitting in front of the chair, but I have not run across that picture yet.
Wow, this was back in 1995. What a good girl. The end result turned out great.

Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and Hollywood Lovers: LOL!
Back in 2007 my Mom and I filmed this YouTube video. We had so much fun. Of course today is the day to re-show it.
I have no idea about the 2009 Oscars. I have not seen any of the movies up for an award. I might watch the pre-show and see what the ladies are wearing. I bet none look as good as Emma!

Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and having hope lovers: We have a dear friend named Sandy Gaston of AnimalNature.com. She has been so wonderful helping me guide Emma towards heath. I cannot tell you how special her words and guidance have been. Emma suffers from severe allergies to food and almost everything else. I think she is even allergic to Chaps’s slobber!!!
I will update this blog much more later with her wisdom. I also want to interview her on my talk show.
She is such a smart gal. I am so fortunate to have her in my life. So, stay tuned and we can all learn a lot from her.
Emma is healing day by day with her guidance.
But for now………TOYSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!

Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and Chaps Lovers: OK I got out my glasses and magnifying glass and read the rule for the above mentioned photo contest, (at the top of the blog). Come to find out that one hound a week wins 250.00 for having the most votes. If that hound wins the contest, that 250.00 is deducted from the 1000.00. OK that is not the part that bugs me. That is totally fair.
What is not fair (in a Helicopter Mom’s opinion) is that Chaps has not won a single week of votes. WHAT????? How can that be?
A hound this cute and handsome? Not winning one single week’s worth of votes????

Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and Gold Rush Lovers! Wow, the miners have really been hitting some pocket of gold these past few days. Jenny Standridge sent in her 4th package of gold for the Gold Rush and I love it! 
I am going to add these to the HOP boutique after I have them appraised and sized. There is no way these 10K gold cuties are getting scrapped.
Also, Jenny has sent a pair of her artistic hand made earring creations. Just stunning. I hope to have them in the HOP boutique tonight!

Howllo Fellow Hound and Gold Rush Lovers: Yesterday I was at the post office and I received two packages with gold in them! HI HO SILVER – ahh or, GOLD! LOL!
The first one is from Janice and Little Rubydew. Rubydew is one of Chaps’s basset hound girl friends. Here she is looking too cute for words.
I took a picture of what they sent in. Here it is.
Wow, what great items. I will take these to the jewelery store very soon. Gold was at an all time low a few weeks ago, but it going back up. Some of these items I might put in the HOP boutique. I will keep everyone posted.
