I feel so special because Marilyn let me name this one. Before I adopted Lucien (ATB) and Lilly I had thought about naming them Louis and Loretta, but friends at the time told me those were dumb names…fast-forward to a few weeks ago, I finally get to use one of the names!

Ladies and gentlehounds, would you please make welcome the First Lady of Country Music, Miss Loretta (of House of Puddles).

NB: It’s spelled LORETTA but it’s pronounced Luretty, like in the movie. )

That’s idiotic! And why in the world do you need to take your dog in for baths that often? If she was really dirty when she got to HOP maybe she was left outside? And if so then I wonder why they even bothered bathing her? Sounds to me like she’s better off at HOP. You are such a wonderful person Marilyn. I’m sure she’ll be fine with the pack in time.

What is just as sad to me is the loss of her melodious basset voice. Debarking really sucks, too! She must cringe in embarrassment every time she opens her mouth.

What a pretty girl Loretta is. I will never understand the human race. Thank dog for people like Marilyn. The HOP Rocks!!! So does bassethoundtown!!!!
