Your mother should be Basset Hound Town's Grandmother of the year. She sets a fine example, and realizes that Chaps and Emma are perfect in every way, so you can't spoil perfection.

Poor guy. It's good that they detected him being tired and did that. I'm sure he'll get used to it. It'll just take time. As I look around all 4 of my hounds have plenty of sleep drool to send too!

And poor Chaps. He wants Mommy and Grandma by his side 24/7! Can't you make that happen!? Geez. What those poor hounds don't have to go through.

I just got a phone call from Ronald's Mom. Ronald was pulled out of the rat line by his Chemistry Department head for a "rest". It is something that the department heads can do for their majors. Rats are not allowed to make phone calls or rest for any reason.

Anyway, he told his Mom that the rat line is 100 times harder than he thought it would be. He had no idea what day it was. He is so tired at night he cannot sleep. Please send him sleep drool. I know Emma can do that! hehehe......

He will be fine. Ronald is a tuff rat.

More later....Cat
