Lois, that was a great comment. I know I love guys in shorts, tight jeans, and biking shorts. In a building I used to work at there was a skyscraper being built, a couple of women brought in binoculars to watch the construction workers at lunch time and throughout the day. It was terrific.

Cathy, I wouldn't feel guilty at all about a new computer. Basset Hound Town is a modern place with sweet and comfortable old fashion values; but, it does need up-to-date equipment and facilities to serve its residents. I guess the Mayor may have to raise taxes (but it will be the first time).

Lois - you are so funny. I was howling laughing. Interestingly, I have had the same FedX and UPS guys for 12 years. Wow! The FedX guy is all business like. I don't think I have ever seen him in shorts! Or my UPS guy. Now, during the holiday season the UPS guy has his hunk son do all the heavy lifting! Now that is worth ordering a UPS Item. He is tall dark and handsome with a huge white smile. Don't even get me started on the Santa hat....

So, back to my FedX guy. He is very sweet, skinny, and balding. Poor guy needs a Santa hat! I will try to get a picture of him. It should not be too hard. I will be peering out the window a fair amount. I will put Grandma on FedX watch duty as well. LOL

Remember that song? Oh Ho the Wells Fargo Wagon is a coming down the street I wish I wish I wish it was for me! Hehe

Hey OneMom - Gina, my MacG5 is limping along slowly. It is getting harder and harder to turn her on in the morning so I left her on all night last night and she appears OK.

I have been dreaming of a MacBook Pro for some time now. My goal was to buy it (or whatever version) next black Friday when it fit into the business budget better. Anyway, I am pretty excited.

I am still not sure if Gina can be fixed, but I am not risking it until I have all of my files transferred. I have a time machine that backs up on an hourly bases so I am just fine even of Gina goes down. If I can get her fixed then I can have my lap top on my other desk and work on transferring all of my orthopaedic work to it. (I know you know that already) I help manage a portion of an orthopaedic practice. I also have a woman who helps me type massive reports and she and I are going to try and come into this century as far as systems are concerned.

So, I am a looking at the bright side type of gal! My Mom and I are cleaning my office and it was so grimy behind the work station that I almost gagged. Out with the old and in with the new!

Ahhhhh ... beautiful computer (as a fellow Mac-lover, you picked a beauty). How are you posting if Gina has passed-on?

Love the picture of Grandma tending to Romeo and Enzo. Romeo looks like a giant sweetie. Seems that Enzo is quite content with his new big/little brother.
