We call it "fluffing". When she is finished she just plops down and lets out a big sigh-- "Whew-what a workout, I need a nap" Gotta love a Basset!!! Ozzie and Jethro just plop on top of pillows and they're content. Harriet does a nest almost as good as Emma. Rugs has to paw at his blankets and pull them up with his teeth. Never have figured out why he has to do this but he's managed to mutulate about 3 pillows doing that. That's ok, he's my sweet baby! She always makes the most perfect nests.
