When I lost my Dad I had the weirdest feeling. He was gone. Just gone. I felt so empty. When I went to the funeral home for the wake and I walked up to his casket, he wasn't there. There was a "shell" there but he was gone. It was so weird. After that, I wouldn't go look in the casket again because to me, there was nothing there. I just went and sat down and talked to him in prayer. So, I completely understand. Don't forget to give Chaps and Emma a cookie this morning! It will help their stress level I'm sure. Right Chaps? Cat, I can't promise you a date but one day I'm definitely going to make my way to Basset Hound Town. Hounds and all! I can just feel the soft fur and sweet kisses I'll get from Emma. I was chatting with Sophie and Nell this morning and we have decided to grant Judy a new title "Ambassador to BHT"! (Thanks to Cindy too for getting us organized). Glad the toys for the kids were a hit ... I know the Mayor has been on duty a lot this week. We continue to pray for you and Grandma and loving all of you from here.
