Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and Baby Emma Lovers….
I know that I have posted this picture before but I must post it again. This was the picture I was e-mailed the day before I left to get Emma. OMG! I was bowled over! We all were! BABY EMMA!
Early Morning Misty Air! I have this in an 8×10 frame in my sun room.
Grandma and I had this picture on the dashboard the entire way to TX. I also had copies that we left every where we stopped! It was so funny! We had such a great time. We still are! Our Emma is such a gift. She amazes me every day.

In this photo I can see how “Baby Emma” grew into “Our Emma”.
while she was beautiful as a baby..it is her face now that does me in…drops me to my knees every time..so calming & so knowing….you can see a hint of it in the baby pix..just a touch of the wisdom..

Today is my Homer’s 27th birthday and would have been Homer the Second’s 13th birthday. I am so glad I gave him a party because less than 2 months later he was ATB. I remember how he wore the silly party hat and greeted everyone at the door and walked them to the door when they left. I went over to my old house today where Homer the First is buried and sung him Happy Birthday. Such mixed emotions as I remember all the pawties he had.
Oh my goodness, too precious for words! Emma was and still is such a beautiful girl!
