Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and Spring Break Lovers…Look who is spending spring break in camp bassethoundtown!

Romeo likes to lay in the bathroom because the tile floor is cool.  Himz get hot even in the early spring!

He looked so cute I had to hug himz..

Howllo Fellow basset hound and TV watching hound lovers…Over my 20 years of loving and living with basset hounds I have never had a hound that watched TV like this!

Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and Unicorn Lovers…This morning Grandma went out to get her Sunday Paper and found a package the mail person had left by the front door.  She sent me an e-mail that said, “There is a package in the hall for Daisy Lynn from Audra.”

Daisy Lynn was jumping for joy and loved the wrapping paper covered in dogs!  So cute!

What a way to start a Sunday!  With a pink and purple unicorn toy!

Eyes as big as dinner plates…

Thank you Audra, Colby Chaps and Abby.  Daisy Lynn is having as much fun smelling the unicorn as she is playing with it.  Audra always rubs toys all over her hounds for that extra dinner plate amazement expression…

Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and walk in the park lovers…Life was a walk in the park today!  Just so sweetly spring…

We walked and walked and then rested in the cool grass over looking the river…

Oh it was so nice with the sun beating down on us…

Daisy Lynn loved laying in the grass…

and did a spring roll…

Daisy Lynn, Grandma and I hope you all had nice day today!

Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and Spring coming lovers…The Mayor Daisy Lynn and I know that today is the official day of Spring but we have both decided to put it off until tomorrow. Today was cold and tomorrow is going to be a spring like 68 degrees!  YES!  So we have a big day planned for sure…

Today…not so much!

We finished up our taxes.

That little pile is the boiled down result of 20 hours of work…

Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and Mayberry RFD lovers…This is one of my favorite of all time TV shows.  I adore all of the episodes (that have Barney as the deputy).  The one I especially love is the one that has a basset hound in it!  YES!  A basset hound!  The episode is called…Dogs, Dogs, Dogs!

I loved this series as a kid and I love it now on a station that carries the old stuff…

I have some more to blogging to do about the trainer of animals in this time period.  This basset maybe the famous Cleo from the Peoples Choice.

Anyone remember that show?

Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and Full Moon Lovers…Tonight, March 16, 2014 we have a stunning and shining full moon.

I went outside to try to capture the moment for the residents.

While I was outside Daisy Lynn was watching from her mayoral perch.

You can see her looking at the moon!

Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and Hollywood Lovers…

It is kind of exciting!  Hollywood is filming near bassethoundtown, actually right down the street! The movie is named CAROL and based on the book The Price of Salt, written by Patricia Highsmith. The Production stars one of my favorite actors, Cate Blanchett!

A few days ago they set up location at this darling, old, wonderful diner that has recently shut down:(

It’s very near Daisy Lynn’s holistic vet office.

So, we made a visit today to see if anything was still going on…

Nah…the set was broken down:(

We peaked inside..There was still a pie in the glass dome on the counter…

I was all ready to be a big time stage Mom..

The frame of her body is perfect for the pictures, if I don’t say so myself!

Our Hollywood almost moment was over…

We moved on…

This frame was much better…

We even had our own extras looking on!

Our very own Hollywood ending, here in bassethoundtown!
