Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and wondering about the King’s Speech Lovers.

OMD! Grandma and I went to see this movie today and we loved it. The word sublime was used in the actual movie twice that I caught and it is the perfect word to describe this masterpiece.

Grandma and I were enthralled. This movie was right up our alley!

We were 2 hours late feeding the kids dinner and they were none too pleased. Chaps actually came down a bit hard on the hand that had a few fries!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

He wants it to be know to all of his subjects…..

“There is only one KING!

The Real King…..”

And there is no stammer in his howl!

Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and needing a good laugh lovers! I know you can’t watch this tonight but do yourself a favor and Netflix it or do what ever you do to rent movies! It is sooooooooo funny!

Seems like old times! With Goldie Hawn and Chevy Chase – need I say more?

One look at the trailer and you will be sold. You might even buy it! Hey, it might be a good gift for someone!

I can remember watching this movie back in 1980s thinking that I would like to rescue dogs some day. Who would have ever thunk it?

I am so glad I found this movie again and could share it. I laughed so hard. Great feel good comedy for the howlowdays!

Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and movie pick lovers! I watched an HBO on demand documentary last night called Teenage Paparazzo by Adrian Grenier of Entourage fame. I have never seen Entourage but I found this documentary somewhat fascinating.

I love TV! New TV, old TV, good TV, bad TV, any TV! With today’s scadzillion channels you can really find some massive TV!

So, if you get HBO on demand you have until 10-25-10 to catch Cat’s movie pick for the night.

Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and Cat’s Movie Pick Lovers! I sure hope you are one of those because I know I am! LOL!

Anyway, tonight’s pick is just phenomenal or in French, Ce film est formidable ! – (This is a great movie!)

OK, OK, let me add I HATE SUBTITLES. I never used to be, but now I can’t seem to be bothered with them but put your fears aside, grab your glasses, an extra large bowl of popcorn, your basset hounds, turn the AC down, and ENJOY!

This movie is called:

HE LOVES ME, HE LOVES ME NOT

I would call this movie a thriller. I have seen it 3 times since 2002. The first time I was like, “Wait, What?” I just could not believe the writing.

The second time I was noticing much more and then finally the 3rd time (which was last night) I was like, “This has to be a Cat’s Movie Pick!”

If you have never seen it do not do a google search because it will ruin all of the surprises that make this movie an edge of your seat (not because your are straining to see the subtitles) wild ride.

Staring Audrey Tautou there is no offensive language, no nudity, and minimal violence. (PG-13)

That combination normally equals fantastic writing.

Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and Si-Fi lovers. I am not really one of those but I really like this movie. It is called the FIFTH ELEMENT with Bruce Willis.

When I see a movie like this I wonder where Bruce Willis is when we need someone like him to plug the oil hole???

Oh well, I guess it is only in the movies…..

Regardless, this movie is my pick for the night! Even if you don’t love Si-Fi, like me, I think you will enjoy this one! Very fun! Wardrobe by Jean Paul Gaultier.

Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and Needing a Good Movie Lovers! I have a romance classic for the residents tonight!

It is called SUMMERTIME! With Katherine Hepburn! Have you seen it? I had, about 20 years ago. It was playing on Tuner Classic Movies and I taped it and watched it last night. The intro with Robert Osborn stated, “After you watch this movie you will want to drive to the airport and fly away to Venice”! Boy oh boy was he right! They sure don’t make movies like this anymore.

I could not find a trailer but I did find this clip.

It was pure joy to watch this movie during a low rumbling thunderstorm with the Mayor not going crazy.

This is not an actual picture, but kind of howl we enjoyed the feature presentation together. Just look at my leading man! LOL!

I had my arm around him for most of the movie. There was some very soothing music in the movie so maybe that helped, not to mention the storm pill the Mayor had to take!

Robert Osborne was right! I wanted to go right to Venice! That is if I had a private jet so Chaps and Emma could go too! Wonder if we won the lottery tonight?

Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and Movie Night Lovers. This movie is one of my favorites. It is called Billy Elliot. It came out in 2000. Have any of the residents seen it? If so, what did you think? I have not seen it since 2000. Here is the trailer.

Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and Cat’s Movie Pick Lovers! Every now and then I pick a movie for our town to watch based upon howl much I enjoy it. This movie is called,

SLIDING DOORS

I have to tell you, I am not a Gwyneth Paltrow fan but this movie has me holding out hope. Released back in 1998 it is rated R. Just so you know. The stuff that makes a movie an R is not a big part of this movie. I can actually say I love this movie!
