Shelter Stories by Patrick McDonnell
Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and Shelter Stories Lovers:
I have really been looking forward to this comic strip in the paper. It is called Shelter Stories by Patrick McDonnell. It is so cute. I hope he does not mind that I am showing an example of the strip. It is for review purposes only. I wanted my dear readers to watch for it. My Mom and I don’t recall seeing this strip.
You can click on it to read it better. Is it not adorable? So, I surfed over to his site to sniff around and found this.
Wow, I am going to buy this book.
“Everything natural, every flower or tree, and every animal have important lessons to teach us” Eckhart Tolle
“Eckhart Tolle is the author of the #1 New York Times bestseller The Power of Now and the highly acclaimed follow-up A New Earth, which are widely considered two of the most influential spiritual books of our time. Eckhart Tolle’s teachings have also long been a source of inspiration for MUTTS. We at Muttscomics.com are delighted to announce Guardians of Being, a collaborative effort that pairs Eckhart’s wisdom with Patrick’s whimsy. This book, published in the U.S. by New World Library, highlights new inspirational text by Eckhart with MUTTS art by Patrick. It centers on why we love our companion animals and how they can bring us into joy. It will inspire readers everywhere to recognize the lessons of the present moment, as embodied by all the creatures who share our world. The book is scheduled to be available in September.”
I am really looking forward to this book. It will be a great holiday gift as well.
More comic strip and book reviews later……..Love, Cat, Chaps and Emma
