Darling Clancy Dancy has gone over the rainbow bridge:(
Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and Clancy McCarty Lovers…..
Clancy McCarty left us over the weekend and made his journey over the rainbow bridge. Clancy was the beloved hound of Charlene and Glenn and lived outside of San Antonio, TX. Here is Clancy playing with his cousin Colby Chaps just this past September.
Wow, look at the resemblance between the 2 hounds. Colby Chaps and Clancy were of the same blood lines but from different breeders. Colby Chaps lives with Audra, Mike and Jourdan. Audra is Charlene and Glenn’s daughter.
Clancy was up in years and I am not sure howl old he was. Audra – please add his age to the comment section. As you can see, Clancy turned into a snow white boy and aged with so much grace and dignity.
He was pure joy to his family who will miss him greatly.
He lived his life in Charlene’s arms.
The same arms that held him as he went to meet his brother Bailey who left us earlier this year.
(Bailey ATB)
Richard was waiting for Clancy as well.
Dog Speed dear Clancy. You made the world a better place for all who knew and loved you….
More missing our boy later…..Love, Cat, Chaps and Emma
Slinky sent Clancy some treats once, and enjoyed his handsome photos and big dewlaps. We both mourn Clancy’s passing.
What a beautiful tribute Cat…..thank you! Clancy & Bailey would of been 12 tomnorrow Dec. 13th. Richard was a rescue basset so we’re not sure on his age. We are sure that they knew they were loved and we will miss them greatly!!! They leave pawprints on your heart forever.
Wow, they would have been 12 tomorrow. I did not know that Clancy, Bailey and Chaps were the same age. I am so glad you enjoyed the tribute. I sure hope your Mom and Dad are doing OK.
Thank you Maureen & Slinky for your condolences and for those for tasty treats that Clancy really enjoyed.
Cat,
Thank you for that beautiful tribute you did on Clancy. The pictres and comments were so thoughful and you make these hard times bearable. We miss him more and more each day. Thank God we have friends like you and all your Bassethound Town Bunch.
We know that the Angels care for our Hounds when they cross that bridge and are in Heaven. But, here on earth we are so thankful to have an Angel like you to look after the hounds that are misstreated and unwanted. We love you very much!!!!
Dear Charlene and Glenn – I am so glad I might have made this difficult time a bit more bearable. Times like this, when we lose a precious darling soul, are the most difficult. We are here for you in bassethoundtown and always will be. I love you guys too, very much…..Cat, Chaps and Emma
Oh I am so sad to hear that Clancy has gone to join Bailey and Richard. Beautiful boys all of them. Charlene and Glenn – I am so sorry for yet another loss from your family. Bailey and Clancy were fortunate to enjoy long wonderful loving years with your family, and you were so sweet to take Richard in off the street and let him know the love and happiness that all hounds should know. I am sad for your family and will light a candle for Clancy.
god speed & safe passage big boy.
So sorry that sweet Clancy has made his journey to the Bridge:(( He is in the arms of gentle St. Francis, I do not doubt, and is being fitted for his angel wings. Mournful arooooooos…

I am so very sorry to hear that Clancy has passed on. Remember all the good times that you had with these three wonderful Bassets and find it comforting that they are all running pain free together in heaven. My sympathy to Charlene and Glenn during this very sad time.
I am very sorry Clancy had to leave you. May he rest in peace with his bridge brothers.
I too am so sad for Charlene and Glenn that Clancy is gone. Wow, you lost 3 pretty close together. That’s got to be hard. I know that they are all together again and playing like young pups. We’ll light a candle too and remember the fun times you had and know that they had the best family they could ever ask for.
