Green Beans and Fortune Cookies!
Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and treat lovers…Since our Daisy Lynn is so young Grandma and I want to start her off on some veggie treats. Of course we are going add the occasional fortune cookie. Anyone remember? It was the favorite of our late Mayor.

So….We know Daisy Lynn likes carrots but what about green beans?
It sure looks promising…(or is she looking at the cookie?)
OK, seems like a GREEN BEAN light!
Daisy Lynn is extremely food driven and seems to love everything so we will continue with the green beans. I buy frozen with nothing added. Just fresh then frozen green beans in the bag.
OK, now for the late Mayor’s favorite treat which we will give in moderation.
Now the moment of truth…Daisy Lynn’s first ever fortune! This is exciting!!!….

What a great idea! I started giving green beans to mine so that they would have some low fat filler. It actually firmed up late Rugs’ poop. When I first got him his poop was never right. I was told that he was always that way. The green beans really helped him out in that way.

And I’m with Daisy Lynn, those gym shoes look like all the other play toys. We think it’s YOU that’s confused.
Looks like she likes everything! Ollie likes green beans, carrots, peas, & corn. When he was a pup I used to get those big,fat carrots to chew on One thing he has never done is chew on shoes but loves to run thru the house with my slippers when he feels like it. He still never has chewed them. To him it is a game.
You just got to love Daisy Lynn, look at those eyes how big they are and yes, ALL Bassets are food driven, aren’t they. Kisses to Daisy Lynn and lots of patty pets!
What appropriate fortunes, they really hit the mark.
I recently had to give Slinky green beans and carrots, and she did NOT care for them at all. I had to cut them up in small bites and mix them with her kibble; otherwise, I would find them all at the bottom of her food dish.

I like Daisy Lynn’s voice too! I didn’t notice Chaps down there until Karen pointed it out.
Thank you residents for noticing Daisy Lynn on the home page. It was fun finding her voice. I think it is cute. We will see about the animation! That would be adorable! Slurp!

Sandy – her bath is this weekend. I am looking so forward to be able to lift a hound in a tub. It has never happened before. I will have plenty of pictures and a blog! This is a major event in a young pups life and in mine! hehehe
