Who wonders what the world will be like after

Who feels excited for summer!
Who likes everybody!!!!
Who needs to have love

I have learned of an important organization called Animal Resources, Inc. Here is their mission statement….

“Animal Resources is dedicated exclusively to providing disaster management solutions for animals by offering our extensive knowledge and experience through a variety of educational and training programs, as well as comprehensive response and recovery services.”

They were last in Bartlsville, Oklahoma to assist the Washington County SPCA.

I heard from folks in the Bartlsville OK, area that this is a fantastic organization that is all about helping. They even offer grief counseling for pet owners in these dire situations. I heard they come with boats and comb the water ways for distressed drowning animals. 🙂

This just in from Dawn of the West
Zachary who was born further down south in California – and who’s human owners took him to a vet at one day of age (6/20/07) saying that his mommy rejected him. A WONDERFUL gal, Becky, took him to her home and began bottle feeding little Mr. Zach.

As luck would have it and unbeknownst to us until a day after Roxie arrived here at Daphneyland, Becky was bottle feeding Zach and doing a great job. The concern is that no one had expected Zach to survive and Becky has travel plans beginning in a week – poor little Zach – no litter mates and all alone… who will feed Zach and socialize him???

Zach will be arriving to meet Roxie and his potential litter-mates this Sunday at BaRNI of Daphneyland.

Wow, what a story. It really is the circle of life. Roxie get rescued by a group of caring dear souls and then she rescues little Zach. Lets all hope he is accepted into her litter. I think he has a good chance, bassets are the most accepting souls on the planet. Slurp,

They said someone just dropped him off in front of the store and drove off. He wandered in on his own and they fixed him a bed and called the humane society
