Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and Re-Gifting Lovers: I have the cutest story. My girl friend has a 5 year old daughter that loves Chaps. Both her and her Mom love shopping at Gymboree. Since she is a little girl and cannot wear this item she convinced her Mom to buy it for Chaps. Her Mom, being a sweet Mom agreed to buy it for Chaps! Here is the item.

How adorable is this? Well, it is wayyyyyyyyyyyyyy too small for Chaps so I am going to put it in my boutique very soon.

Chaps could not even put it on but he tried!!!!!!!!

The tag says 6 to 12 months. Hey, I don’t have kids, but that is quite the spread, is it not? Anyway, my Mom and I had fun taking pictures. I will put it in my boutique very soon.

This has to be one of the cutest kid items I have ever seen.

Can you imagine a little boy wearing this and his Mom or Dad walking a basset down the street? A D O R A B L E!

Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and Chaps’s Lovers!!!

I am a bit distressed tonight because I think Chaps has pulled a muscle or strained his back. When he moves a certain way he cries. I cleaned his ears this morning and he was so mad and sad. I had to do it. I wonder if he pulled one of his neck muscles when I was working on him???

He did yelp when tried to clean his left ear. I guess it could be an ear infection. I thought he was just mad at me, but now I think he is in pain. This picuture was taken before the dreaded cleaning. He ate is dinner OK, but not as good as usual. I worry just as much as he does.

Maybe I am part basset hound.

Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and taking pictures lovers: LOL

I would think Chaps has to be ranked right up there with the most photographed dog in the world. I would love to bestow that title on him. So, I will!

Yesterday he had his picture taken about 80 times. So did Emma. I was working on a few fun things for the website so I was carrying my camera around. I have been working at my desk for about an hour and Chaps and Emma were sleeping. When I got up to go to the kitchen I heard Chaps right behind me. I turned quickly and snapped this shot! This is what the Mayor looks like when he just wakes up and follows me!

Yup, he’s the most photographed dog in the world!

Howllo Fellow Hound and Forum Lovers: I have been wanting to start a forum for awhile now. I am on a few myself. I just thought it would be fun to try. I will keep you posted.

I am such a graphic geek that I had to design a header for my forum. My website guy will let me know if it works or not.

Howllo Fellow Hound and Puppy lovers: As many of my dear readers know, my sister and her family just got a brand new family member, Oscar the French Bull Dog. Here he is, with moi!

That’s him in the front with the big ears! LOL

When I got home the kids went wild smelling me. Up one side and down the other. Chaps started shaking and Emma started howling. It was really odd. I wonder what they will do when the pup comes to stay for spring break? He is too little to be around Emma and I never chance it with Chaps.

Well, even though this video was made on Valentine’s Day, 2007 the message from Chaps to Emma is still the same. I LOVE YOU!

This YouTube Video has been viewed about 10,000 times. It is very touching even if I do say so myself! I was told that many folks send it as a video Valentine. Sweet!

Sometimes you can capture truly wonderful and heart felt moments. Priceless indeed!

Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and Food is Love, Lovers! Yummy…..

According to Chaps and Emma food is love. These picture were taken very early Valentine’s Day morning and as you can see it is still darkish. I thought the glow of the refrigerator light was interesting. I had just given Chaps and Emma their heart toys but as you can see they were more interested in the open fridge door!

Mommy, I smell a treat!!!!!

Hum, can you open this door a bit wider. Some of us need more room.
