Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and wanting to know what is going on lovers! I was just wondering when do I delete old blogs and “great” links? I have looked at some of my list tonight and some, as if not most of them, are really old. I think I need to do some house cleaning. I know how hard it is to maintain a blog. So, if you are on my list and I do not see any activity in the past year, you are going to be considered for deletion. My precious readers do not need to click on a way, way stale old blog!

Good by old friends. We hardly knew yee!

If you work as hard as it takes to maintain a blog you might still remain. But sad as it is, if you did not, farewell wannabes! hehehehe

Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and Baby English Mastiff Lovers! Well, many of us are going to become one of those in basset hound town!

I went over to my sisters for dinner tonight and had a puppy session with our Romeo. He has gained about 12 pounds in 15 days. OMG! He is so cute and very sweet. Here is a picture of Julian with him a few days ago.

He is just a bundle of bear cub joy!

They grow up so fast……The next time I see himz I might not be able to pick himz up! Sigh……

OMG!!!!!!! When I got home the kids were on the back porch making sounds like I have never heard in my life. I think they smelled the pup and my love for that pup! The kids went into sniff mania when I walked in and they continued, what Grandma calls vacuuming, for about 15 minutes. When I sat on the floor to let them smell my shirt Chaps went into chatter overdrive. He was having a full face quake! Sup with that?

Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and Yellow Pages Moments lovers! I sure hope there will be many of these. However, this one was not so great. Just kind of blah……..

Yesterday, Grandma and I took the Mayor and Emma on a walk. I wanted to walk to the “Cop Shop” and show off the Mayor and maybe get some extra yellow pages that they did not want. When we were kids we all called the Police Station the Cop Shop and now that is what everyone calls it. Anyway, when we got there we had to wait a few minutes because the fire alarm went off. The Fire Station is attached to the Cop Shop!

It’s funny, because the sounds of the fire truck do not bother Chaps at all. He just stood right there and watched. My Mom had them down a bit further because I was coming across from the bank. I guess you can tell it’s a pretty small town. Cop Shop, Bank, Post Office all within a short walk from home.

So I took Chaps inside to let the masses fawn over him and get his autograph on their yellow pages. We entered to total emptiness. The only thing that was inside was a pile of yellow pages.

The Cop Shop is being remodeled. Nary a Cop in sight. I guess I could have “taken” a few extra yellow pages that I am sure no one would miss, but that would have been pretty stupid. Chaps would never steal! He is the Mayor after all and the Police respect him.

Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and Chaps on the cover of the Yellow Pages lovers! OK, let’s bring it out in the open. The Yellow Pages signifies the Yellow Puddles at the House of Puddles! It is just to obvious to deny! LOL!

So, who would not want a copy of this coffee table book? Every time you look at it you will contemplate the elders squatting away at HOP and who would not want to do that! OK – I am getting a bit carried away.

I just thought that some of us would want a copy. So I got on the horn and this package arrived today. I was not able to get what I wanted. I wanted 200 copies! The person in charge told me I was crazy. OK, tell me something I don’t know!

Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and Sr. Hounds Abound Calendar Lovers. Well, last night about 9:00ish I submitted the winning photo of the Mayor along with $10.00 to enter him in the Sr. Hounds Abound Calendar Contest. All proceeds from this calendar go to SHB and it is their biggest fund raiser of the year!
