Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and A+ lovers! Our boy did so good today. True to form he marched into school with a spring in his step, ears flying!

Here is the Mayor waiting not so patiently at the door to be buzzed in!

Then it was right to the back packs that lined the floor. He was sure he smelled something really good! (See the Lily Book?)

Off we go to the Mayor’s stage of stardom! Ears still flying. He could not go fast enough. Look at Grandma trying to keep up with him!

This is where Chaps feels right at home! Center Stage! LOL – Of course Grandma wants to make sure he does not venture off of the stage! hehe

Next the kids filter in and a fun time is had by all. I would have to say that Chaps was one of the kids that had the most fun!

He sat right in front of me the entire time and the teachers were amazed with him. My goodness, he is such a natural!

We had so much fun and the Lily book was a hit. I have to tell you guys that I get there early when all the Moms are bringing in the kids in the mini vans. They all wait in a line to drop off their child. I walk Chaps right in the grassy area next to the drop off line and as cold as it was today, I have about 50 kids hanging out of car windows cheering and clapping. It was so cute.
Wow, Chaps was born for this. I need to get him and Emma to more schools.
More spot light news later….Cat, Chaps and Emma
