Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and Mr. Chewy lovers…

I have blogged before about howl I picked Mr. Chewy as the bassethoundtown.com official site for purchasing dog treats and food for the young Mayor Daisy Lynn.

Mr. Chewy also has a blogger program that we are a part of from time to time.  When a request came out to some bloggers to try these treats I was very interested.

There is an obvious trend sweeping the country to eat healthier and to know what is in our food.  All of this information is helping us make better decisions for ourselves and the hounds we love.

This healthy snack was a huge success!  All three focus group participants were more than pleased and begged for more!

Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and Mystified Lovers…

Yes, I am totally and utterly mystified about this graft that was in the USA BEFORE THE TERRIER WON – YET AGAIN, last night.

OK, what is wrong with this picture?  Where is the hound group?  Are they so ignored that they just leave them off the graph all together?  I googled if a hound has ever won at Westminster and via a quick look it appears that at least 5 have.  OH BOY!  A whopping 5???

I would love to hear the opinions of others.  What is going on with Westminster that they consistently award the Terriers?  You can add another one to this total.  Now it is 46 wins.  It just does not make sense to me.  I know Dog shows judges are totally subjective but come on!!!

I am just shaking my head.  What do you guys think?

One think I know for sure is my x-show hound was the winner in my life.  Chaps never liked showing.  It’s a hard life for a such gentle souls.  Bless his heart…

Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and howling lovers…Yes, I love a great basset hound howl but not like this!  I had to run a few errands today and Grandma stayed home.  Since I was only going to be gone for a short time I decided to leave Daisy Lynn out and about and Grandma was baby sitting via the indoor video cameras.  Of course I had access as well via my Iphone.

Let the howling begin.

First on her couch arm…

Then on the worry bed…More non-stop howling…

Then, as Chaps before her she waited by the window and saw me drive down the street…

Grandma even captured me coming in the door!  Look at Daisy Lynn grabbing my ankle!

Oh poor Daisy Lynn she was just howling to get her pack back in order.  She does absolutely fine in her cage when we leave for longer periods.  She naps the entire time.  We check in on that camera about every 20 minutes.

Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and Westminster Lovers.  The show starts right now on some obscure channel on my cable, (905).

I need a break from snow boarding which is getting a bit long in the tooth for me.

I big thank you to Monnie, bassethoundtown resident for alerting me that she spotted a very cute lace ear in the all breed Basset judging video over on the Westminster site. 

This hound is first up on the ramp during the all basset hound breed competition.  I am not sure who won this contest but I will soon find out as they RELEASE THE HOUNDS, in the hound group which is first up.

Wonder who this hound is?  Very cute indeed as they all were.

So tune in and watch the basset not place!  They rarely do which is a real shocker in my opinion.  (Surprise, surprise…)

Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and winning the gold lovers!  Yes!  I won the gold, at least for me…I have been looking for this sweater for a few years now!  It is a design by Michael Simon.  I bought Grandma one about 15 years ago.

It is stunning, (like Grandma).  The detail of the beading is beyond encrusted.  These pictures just do not show the bassetabulousness of the workmanship.

Mid-Atlantic Basset Hound Rescue was holding a facebook auction that closed tonight and low and behold they had the coveted sweater in my size!!!

I won it for 80.00 dollars!  All of that money goes to homeless bassets at Mid-Atlantic!

We both won the gold!  hehehe

Daisy Lynn was wondering,  “where is the lace ear?”

Well, she is my little golden girl for sure!

Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and too cute to get mad at lovers.  I cannot believe that at the ripe ole age of 17 months Daisy Lynn is still acting like a puppy.  She knows she is wrong.  You can see it in her face.

This is close to the look but not the good one where she gives herself away.

I buy really, really cheap glasses at the dollar store and I have them in every room and in all purses and in the car.  I am extra careful with them because I know she has a thing for grabbing them.

Well, I am off to the dollar store to see if they still have that deal.

Hopefully, I have learned my lesson.

Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and bored at work not lovers…Well, I am one of those types.  It has been a long cold week and I am ready to start the weekend fun!  Wish I was with The Basset Hound Walkers on Burnham Beach, Somerset!

Noise alert – lots and lots of howling and barking…

I have not posted a video of the walkers in over a fortnight so lets all while away this long Friday and have a laugh…and some chips!

I am kind of in love with Oliver…

Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and Under Cover Lovers…Well, bless her heart…you can’t blame Daisy Lynn.  I actually had to come find her when she did not show up for breakfast!
