Today Chaps had a celebrity appearance!

Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and Chaps being a Celebrity Lovers! Well, come on! What school would not want the Mayor showing up for an appearance!
Our Mayor even wore his Star Spangled Banner Bandanna in honor of Veteran’s Day! He was a real show stopper!
We talked to the kids about soldiers and howl important they are to all of us.
We also talked about howl dogs can be soldiers as well.
I told everyone I would count to 3 and then everyone say, “hound dog”!
It was so cute!
We read the Lily Book and spent so much time talking about all of our pets. It was a fantastic day for all of us.
Grandma and Emma were waiting for us at home.
Of course I stopped for fries!

big fun! school visits are akways fun! buster never gets to go into the school with me..but he usually comes to visit afterwards & hand out by the playground which is ok…
mr cooper (the 1st) would have LOVED to do school programs.

We would love to have the Mayor visit Hannah-Bear Elementary School, but I suppose that is a bit out of his jurisdiction. 🙁
Oh, well, we still have his beautiful picture keeping a watchful eye over all school lessons everyday.
