It is amazing to me howl similar hound lovers go through life. I am sure this is not a sight unfamiliar to those of us who have basset hounds as kitchen rugs! hehehe

I Literally trip over Harriet all the time in the kitchen. She actually caused me to break my toe in September! The kitchen is a bassets favorite room. What cute pics!
Bumper always lays there especially when I fix dinner! He is always waiting for something to drop his way.
I’m not surprised Chaps and Emma (ATB) or any dog prefers the kitchen, but Slinky prefers her quiet, cozy, comfort corner.
