Breaking Good News…Zane the basset puppy found alive and well!
Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and breaking good news lovers! Well, I know I will be sleeping better tonight along with our very own Zane! He is home with his family alive and well. Zane survived over 3 nights of below freezing weather and an ice storm in a neighbor’s shed. Though the power of networking baby Zane was spotted by another neighbor.
He was dirty and scared but now clean and back to being his puppy self.
Himz is going in for a check up just to be safe!
Whew…I was worried sick so I cannot imagine his own Mom. She told me she had not eaten since Friday.
More loving happy endings later…Cat, Daisy Lynn (Chaps and Emma ATB shining a light on that shed)
PS – He better come to our next walk!

Wonderfully fantastic news! There are lots of things about social media that I don’t like, but in this case, it probably saved Zane’s life. Congratulations to his family.
I know what you mean DTTC – I am mostly on facebook for basset rescue and the walking club. I think it did save little Zane’s life for sure! I had the worst dream last night that I was chasing basset hounds that had escaped and they were tearing down fences and running from me. I woke up exhausted. I think that Zane looks a little bit like a young Burger Boy! Chaps was probably worried sick!
What great news. I was so worried about him.
Thank doG! We here at the Doyle household are soooo very glad Zane found his way home. It’s simply amazing at the survival instincts they can have when needed.
It has been a stressful couple of days wondering if Zane was safe especially with our frigid Ft. Thomas weather. I am so glad he is back home with his family. Bumper and Abby had their paws crossed for 4 days! Welcome home sweet pup!
So glad to hear he is back home! I know I will sleep better too! Speaking of social media I kept checking sites online to see if someone posted finding him. I am so happy for him & his family.
Poor Baby. I’m sure it was so scary for everyone.
Was so glad to get the message from Judy yesterday that he was found and ok. What a relief.
Over the moon and incredibly relieved that this darling is home and OK!!! I and the houndage were worried and praying to St. Francis and St. Anthony to keep Zane safe. I, too, don’t like a lot about social media, but for networking on behalf of lost animals it is a very good tool to spread the word widely:) Welcome home, Zane!!
