BEGGING! Dog transport help needed 6-20/21-09 AL/TN/VA/MD/PA includes senior coming 2 HOP.

A few moments ago I was checking Twitter and saw that Marilyn at HOP needs help with a transport that is going on this weekend. There is a Sr. on the transport named Patty. OMG, I love that name. I would call her little Patty Cake. Anyway, I clicked on the transport link to take a look just as clap of thunder hit.

Chaps had been laying under my desk when he heard the rain start. You can see the transport link up on my monitor.

The Mayor says, “Look at me instead”!

You know I had to kiss that cheek a few times. He was right in the kissing position!

Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and Chaps being on the Yellow Pages cover lovers! We have good news and bad news. Let’s go with the not so bad news first. The Yellow Pages were supposed to be out this month but the Yellow Pages have been pushed out their new introduction until September. Sigh………..

I think the good news out weighs the bad. This addition will be a 15 month run! Yes! Chaps will be on the cover for 15 months so the Mayor is very happy about that!

I actually spoke with the woman who was in charge of the contest and she is very nice. Her and I are working together on a few ideas which will be forth coming! She also saw a sneak peek at the cover and she said that Chaps looks great! This is so exciting. I will be obtaining extra copies of the Yellow Pages and Chaps will be signing them.

So, stay tuned for more information about our cover boy! I think this is a picture of the shoot you have not seen yet.

Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and House of Puddles boutique lovers! I had to show off the newest donations for our House of Puddles boutique! I just love them.

Marilyn and I met a really nice guy on Twitter named Peter. He and his family are owned by a basset named Monty and a Husky named Tigger!

Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and Winnie of HOP Lovers: I was just getting caught up on the news wires that I follow on line….Twitter, boards, forums, blogs, alerts, and more. I want to keep my dear readers updated. I just saw this report on Winnie, the poor, poor gal who had so many litters and who is now at House of Puddles. Marilyn states,

“The vet said there was way to much skin to just take a little out and she would have had to cut through the mammary glands. Then she found what she believes to be a mast cell tumor, so she decided it would be better to give her a full mastectomy. The tumor was sent out for analysis. She also said she could tell from the way needles went through her skin and how her uterus almost fell apart during the spay that she had been fed a very poor diet, extremely low in protein. So I’m to give her extra chicken or hamburger with her regular dinner (poor Winnie, think she’ll survive that?). But she won’t be having any more puppies, nor will she be posing in a bikini anytime soon.”

Winnie is in the best hands possible. We will all wait for our next update.

Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and waiting for an update on Winnie Lovers! Well here it is, right from Marilyn of House of Puddles:

Winnie got here around noon. She growled as each dog came up to greet her, but it was just a warning, kind of like, “Wait a minute, not so fast”. She seems more at ease with them now. She’s a very sweet girl, loves human attention, and really is very polite. She ate all of her dinner except for about 4 pieces of kibble, as if she thought it wouldn’t be lady like to clean her plate. She really looks quite healthy and I haven’t seen any evidence of being abused yet, either physically or mentally.

She enjoyed exploring her new yard.

Discovered the Coolaroo outside bed.

I think she’s gonna need a tummy tuck.

Wondering when dinner will be served.

Today I received a package in the mail from Kathy Peacock. She does really cool stuff and donates it to House of Puddles. Here is her latest design that I just love!

Just as I was receiving her package at the door I saw where my Mom had left me flowers for Mother’s day from the kids. How sweet do they look together? I had to take pictures OF COURSE!

There are 4 caps left in House of Puddle Boutique. I bought 2 of them. I hope you get that they are YELLOW! hehehehehe
