Do you have a Lily Book?
Howllo fellow hound and Lily book lovers: I have a favor to ask you. Do you have a copy of:
Lily, a Basset Hound’s Tail of Love
If so, would you be willing to comment on my book? I am getting ready to send out my national media packages. I will be sending out approximately 500 packages to different media outlets across the nation. Enclosed in these packages will be a copy of the book, a press release, a DVD of my TV interview, press clippings, a list of all basset hound rescues, a blurb about the Basset Hound Club of America, and your comments. I have received many comments and I will personally e-mail those who commented to ask for approval, but a few more can’t hurt!!! I have been saving up for this mailing and working like a dog, Tehehehehehe, to make this happen. I figured this would be a great way to get the list of basset hound rescues in front of alot of press folks. Everyone can count on me, if I get tapped to speak on behalf of Lily, I will speak on behalf of our breed with knowledge and joy. OK, they will probably just tap me if I bring the Mayor! (He only goes first class, I will be in steerage)! Thank you so much for any comments you have.

I ordered the Lily book because Basset Rescue of Alabama let us know that a percentage of sales for that particular month would go to them. I went online and saw the book and I was astounded. Not only was the book charming and touching, its star, Lily, was a twin of my rescued senior basset, Lilly. When the book arrived I couldn’t wait to read it. It is just the sweetest book I ever saw. The art is fabulous and the story is very touching. This book is definitely one of my favorites!

Dear cat , I just wanted to let you know how much the Lily book has meant to my grandchildren and Me, They have read it so much that they know it by heart. It is such a joy to hear them, They love Bassets and the littlest one loves to give them a kiss which is returned ten fold.Thank you for writing such a wonderful book , It is loved by both Children and Adults. I would recommend it highly to anyone of any age, it is a book of love and you can’t beat that.

I want a rescue basset and I live in IL. Thank you so much for the rescue info. I will leave a comment on the book soon. I want to name my hound Cee Cee, after me, Jaycee!

I just read the Lily book again. I have read it quite a few times, by myself and to my grandchildren. It is such a sweet book full of inspiration and hope. That is one reason I wanted to send a copy to the Ronald McDonald House. Thankyou again for donating a copy in your name also. I am sure it is being enjoyed by many children and giving them hope. The art and graphics are unbelievable.

We have read Lily’s book about a hundred times. It’s the best basset book in our house. My dad keeps one copy at his office in Beverly Hills and everybody asks if the book is about us. We hope that somebody writes such a great book about us someday.

Hey Rocco and Lana: Thanks so much for the great comments. My Mom is writing another book about us, (Chaps and Emma) and we asked her if she would use some pictures of you guys. She said, “of course”. So, you can be in our book. Hopefully it does not take her 6 years to finish it! Tehehehehehehe. Oh, one more thing.
