Chaps, big hit at his St. Francis of Assisi blessing!
Howllo fellow Hound and blessing lovers: Well, we had a great time visiting our friend, Maddie’s school today, St. Francis day. The animals were in attendance for the annual blessing of the animals. We were sitting next to a cage of mice. I loved seeing the guinea pigs and birds.
Maddie’s class loved petting Chaps as you will see. (Sorry it is such a bad quality, I was walking Chaps and moving alot)
Thanks Maddie and her Mommy Jackie for inviting us. Make sure we are on the guest list next year!
More Later…Cat, Chaps and Emma
That was so sweet seeing Chaps surrounded by all those children. Maybe he should be known now as St Chaps !!!
Slurps,
Kip and Gus
oh how adorable! Chaps is such a good well behaved boy. Bravo!
Kip that is so funny. I love it. Today, all day I am going to call him St. Chaps! Maybe all weekend! Have a great one.
Sandra: I know, what a treat for the children to get to see Chaps. He was very interested in the mice next to us! He also slimed the woman holding them. I am sure she needed a shower when she got home! Slurp!
Cat , That was a great video, I have heard of the blessing of the animals but that is the first time I have seen it. Thanks so much. And thanks to ST. Chaps
Ken, this was our second blessing. About 10 years ago I went with my nephews, Ronald and Henry to get their guinea pigs blessed. It was in Atlanta. Last year, my friend said the someone brought a horse to the blessing. I was so hoping they would come. St. Chaps loves horses!
Cat! I am all teary eyed! Those kids lubbed Chaps so much. The looked so incredibly happy to see him!! It makes me so happy! He is like the ambassetdor to children. 🙂
Cat, why do all of your videos make me cry!! lol This is the sweetest video. I think it is not a mistake that you found Lily on St. Francis Day! Dreams do come true and miracles do happen! LOVE YOU CAT!
