Bluegrass Basset Rescue supports our troops!

Howllo Fellow Hound and Soldier lovers:

As you all know, BGBR is in KY! It is my home state rescue! I hang out on their site quite a bit and today I saw this! SAPPER, OUR GUEST.

Thank you Susan. You are Sapper’s Daddy’s angel. Anyone would be blessed to be a part of your fold. Including my first foster ever, BUSTER!

Susan told me she is adding other hounds waiting for their loved one to return on this page. You can see them at the bottom of Sapper’s page. This is such a fantastic idea.

Susan, we will be checking back every day. You do good work and we are proud you are in Kentucky.

Hey, Cat, Chaps and Emma! Many thanks for telling everyone about our guys here!! I only have 3 of the many great bassets up for adoption thru Bluegrass Basset Rescue, but am working like crazy to get them all forever homes. People can come to our 2007 Picnic here at my house in Hopkinsville, KY, on 27 October and win raffles, play games, enter contests with their bassets (costumes!!) and eat (what all bassets love to do!) It just so happens that the date coincides with the national Make a Difference Day–so make a difference in the life of a homeless basset and come support Bluegrass Basset Rescue!!!

Hey Susan! That sounds like so much fun and it’s on Make a Difference day. I have never heard of that before. You have a great point! Everyone reading these comments, please keep checking back. I will update the Blog with info on the picnic. Hopkinsville is in Western KY. Thanks for commenting Susan. Have a great night! Slurp! Cat, Chaps and Emma
