Oh, this picture just makes me cry with joy that she is finally done with that head-gear and surgery. Emma is sooooo beautiful! We will pray that she is back to her normal self in no time. Once again, Emma has taught us all the true meaning of overcoming diversity and how to have courage through anything. Her sweet spirit is such an inspiration!

I stumbled upon this website a few months ago,and I LOVE IT. I had 2 red and whites a few years back, Barney & Maggie. They were so much like Chaps & Emma. He died at 11 years, and she at 10. I miss them both terribly. They were my life. So, I read your blog daily, and feel like my two are still here with me !! I’m SOOOO happy Emma is doing so well, what a trooper she is. I wish I could have seen her rubbing her face on Chaps. It must have been beautiful! I had a tear in my eye too when I read it! Love to all, Karen

Emma looks so soft, sweet and beautiful. With all she’s been through she looks wonderful!

Is Emma getting ready for the Mayor’s birthday tomorrow?

I hope she will enjoy the festivities.

Hey Karen, thanks so much for your comments. How sweet! It thrills me beyond belief that you feel closer to Barney and Maggie because of Chaps and Emma. That is spectacular!

Thanks for visiting us. Tomorrow is Chaps’ birthday! He is so excited that it wore him out and he had to go take a nap!

    LOL

    Love, Cat, Chaps and Emma

Emma we are so glad your home once again. I just want to say how much I admire your strength to keep your happy attitude when life tosses banana’s in your path. You may slip but you get your paws grounded again and move right along. Mayor Chaps give Emma some love for us here on the Home Farm. Sir Henri and Miss Riley send lots of nose kisses to you both.
    God Bless

Uncle Ken – I just delivered your kiss to Emmers. She is laying in bed with “her” new toy. Chaps’ son sent him a birthday toy which she promptly commandeered.
