Emma is HOME and without stitches!

October 15th, 2008 - 11:11 am KY Time

Howllo Fellow Hound and keeping tabs on Emma Lovers! Well we sure feel the love because she has received so many comments and e-mails it makes our spirits beam. Emma is doing great and is so glad to be back to her pre-surgery and pre-optivior self.

Here we are waiting for the doctor. Chaps went with us to offer moral support. He also needed his nails trimmed.

Just look at the expression on Chaps’ face. He knows that no one good walks through that door.

Emma was first to go out the scary door. They took her to the back to get a really good look.

She passed with flying colors! Here is our girl coming back into the room.

Chaps was hauled off next for his nail trim. Oh the indignation of it all!

Now for a closer look at our Emmers!

Here is another one. Oh, how Emma’s looks have changed over the years. She still is our glamour girl.

When Chaps came back into the room, Emma ran to him and started rubbing her face all over his. Then she licked him all over his muzzle. It was so touching. Chaps just stood there with this thrilled look on his face. You could just tell that he was so glad to have that thing off of her head.

Of course I missed that shot, well, because I was slightly crying as you can probably imagine.

I am off to get them some french fries. They are cooling in the kitchen. Then, I think a big nap is in their near future!

Thank you everyone for getting me through this. I really don’t know what I would have done without all of the support.

More gratitude later…Cat, Chaps and Emma

Chaps and Emma have such empathy for each other, it is really quite amazing. I bet they finish each other sentences and thoughts.
