Gabe has a forever home!!!!!!!!!!!!

Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and Gabe Lovers:

Everyone remembers Gabe! He was the very young boy that was found wandering the streets near Jourdan’s School.

Gabe had such a fantastic family fostering him and I cannot thank
Glenn, Charlene, Audra, Mike and Jourdan enough.

Well this fantastic foster family, with the enormous aid of
BASSET BUDDIES RESCUE OF TX, found Gabe the perfect home. He gets to live with a brother and a family who plan on taking them on RV trips across the United States. I sure hope they come my way. l would love to meet them and hang out at the RV with the gang. I’ll bring the cold slaw and potato salad!

Audra and her Dad drove Gabe over 3 hours to Houston to his new home. Here is Audra with her boy. She misses him so much and it was very hard on her. Audra, that is why I cherish families that foster. It is so heart tugging.

Here is Audra’s Daddy, Glenn saying good bye to the boy they so tenderly cared for. I love our basset hound circle of love.

Here is a picture of Gabe with his new brother Clyde:

Here is Gabe with his new Mommy, Carmen. It was love at first sight!

Nice belly Clyde!

Here is Clyde showing Gabe all of his new toys. I just think that Gabe’s butt is so cute!

It always amazes me how many people it takes to care for an abandoned hound. One evil person who dumps a dog on the side of the road can create a huge group of great people working together to help the helpless.

Heck it worked for Gabe, now he get the best life ever with a loving family!

Keep in touch Gabes new forever home! We want to hear all about your travels. You could do a travel blog. You could call it
BASSET BROTHERS SMELL THEIR WAY ACROSS THE USA!

More basset brother news later………Love, Cat, Chaps and Emma

What heartwarming news!! Gabe is beautiful and it looks like he will have it made with his new forever family. Bless his new family and all the folks in Texas who made sure he didn’t end up in a cage at a puppy mill. Just wonderful!!

What a happy ending! And I can sure sympathize with Audra and family. I know from experience that it’s so hard to let go. But she can look back and know that she saved a basset and got him a wonderful home. And he’s got a brother to play with! How cool is that?
