YouTube is getting pretty lame……
Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and YouTube Lovers. I have been trying to feature some good Tubes lately, but my Lord, I cannot subject my readers to the current Tubes. I am not a fan of those who upload 10 to 15 short videos of puppies nursing. These are just ads to sell puppies. Like we need more of those.
It probably also has something to do with YouTube not allowing videos to upload with cool songs. I get the whole copyright thing but why not just make the video person advertise the song and link to ITunes? That way the song gets played to an entirely new audience and perhaps someone will buy the song. DUH………
I don’t mean you dear YouTube uploader! I find the good ones but any more it is getting very hard!
For some reason they still allow this one to remain. It is a classic Chaps and Emma video from the Spring of 2007. Ahhhhhhhh………Maybe another walk is in order soon. Enjoy it while you can. The YouTube POLICE might catch it soon.
P.S. – All of my stuff is copyrighted but I only challenge someone who is trying to make doe off of it. Otherwise – enjoy!

They looked a little exhausted from their journey! I love the term “ambassetors”. Very cute.
Yes the Oh Ho river like my young nephew used to call it!
We have a Purple People Bridge that is way cool. On the KY side there are lots of shops and eating places. What is ultra cool are craft shows and art exhibits on the bridge. They will even book weddings and parties on it.

Its been a while! Your website has improved and so has my knowledge and understanding of basset hounds. We had given maple away but she found her way back to us! A friend of ours (who had two bassets) basset had passed away and she fell in love with my Maple girl! Her other basset was missing their lovely shoebert and they wanted Maple from me. I couldnt stand to let her go, but the current situation was saying that would be best for both our families. Maple is in a great basset loving home with another basset buddy :D. We still have good ol’ raz though. I miss maple terribly :[ I get to see visit with her still though 😀 Also, I recently found out I am bipolar and I don’t know if dog ownership is good for me yet. But boy did maple help me on my journey and I got lots of houndy kisses of encouragment along the way. I am now 14 going on 15! How are chaps and emma?
Danielle – OMG! Little Danielle! Hi honey. We all have problems and for you to tell us about yours shows me how pawsome you are. I am thrilled to see you in BHT again. I hope you visit often and enjoy all of the hounds that love you. Chaps and Emma have changed a lot. Emma is blind now. Will you tell your Mom Hi. She was very sweet to me. Also, your sister was a joy. I am glad that Maple found a home. You will be a great dog owner some day sweet heart. I just know it. Keep in touch OK?

Thanks 😀 I’m trying to do so much to make up for the absense of Maple! I am going to train raz to do agility and get him an akc CGC award so he can visit nursing homes. Emma is blind now? :O Is it from Glaucoma?
Yes dear Danielle. Poor Emma has glaucoma and both of her eyes were removed. – She was the product of bad breeding. She came from a breeder called BoBac Bassets in TX. They have glaucoma in their line. I hope I can help others avoid this disease. One way would be to avoid BoBac Bassets!

You would think a breeder would have her dogs tested for that, its common in bassets especially.
Chaps and Emma are the best ambassetdors out there! I love the clips of their cute tushies waddling along.
Don’t get me started on YouTube and the whole copyright thing, lol!! I uploaded a video the other day and the music has, so far, remained. Maybe because I hacked away at the audio track, and spliced away half the song?? I don’t know.
Mary – I knew you had trouble as well. What I think is really RUDE is that they delete the video and then If you don’t have a copy, you loose it. I know everyone signs all of the legal stuff, but I hope someone comes up with another site that is not so controlling and Rude.
