Food for thought………
Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and Comic Strip Lovers: I am a huge fan of comic strips and I read a few every day.
As I was reading my local Ft. Thomas mini paper I noticed they did not have a comic strip so I thought I might ask them if I could do one. Here is my first try and I would love your critique. I want the good, bad and the ugly.
If they like the idea, it would be based upon Chaps Wisenheimer Wisdom. About 99% of his wisdom is original thought that comes to me while washing my face in the morning. It is a great time to reflect. Plus, Chaps and Emma are always at my feet providing inspiration. After I wash my face, I take a clean cloth and wipe them down. There is always lots of kissing involved.

They may tell me to pound salt, but if you don’t succeed, try, try, again! YES!
More food for thought later……Love, Cat, Chaps and Emma
P.S. even if they don’t like it, I will probably do it for the website anyway!
The idea is adorable, and you, the Mayor and Our Emma have so much to share and inspire.
I love it! Where do you come up with all this stuff? You’ve always got something to say. Just amazes me.
Ahmmm…and by the way, I noticed that you just had to do a comic to include the back side of the mayor. Ha!
We LOVE IT SLURP
Candy and Bailey
Loving it here, too! You’ll have to share on your site for all of us loyal (but not local) followers.
Cat, I absolutely love it! Yes, yes, yes, go for it! Wisenheimer Wisdom is one of my favorite things to read in Town:)
Mary, Harley, Biggs and Leo
It’s a winner. Go for it,
Cat, you are simply amazing. It would be wonderful.
Hugs,
Kip, Gus, Bonnie and Charlie Bear
“Food” for thought … so appropriate for our beloved mayor! This would be great Cat.
Did you ever read the “Fred the Basset” strip? It’s from the UK, but it did a good job of presenting life from a basset point of view. Another strip I found about a year ago is called “Little Dog Lost”, and it’s a good strip about a dog who has lost his home.
