Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and update lovers: Well, I just heard from Sarah of Outlaw Basset Hound Rescue and it looks like Paul and Ellie Mae are both pending adoptions!

Outlaw has a Petfinder page where you can see Paul, Ely Mae and Rufus. Rufus is a bassador. I like to call those bassadorables! He is so cute. Here is their page.

I love it when a plan comes together! So does Paul! Oh, and more good news for Outlaw, their rescue horse Tiago is going to a foster home with an adoption pending. After all of that is squared away, Outlaw will be taking in an owner relinquish horse. Good job Sarah.

More forever homes later….Love, Cat, Chaps and Emma

HURRAY FOR PAUL! I wish we all lived in the same neighborhood so we could have a block party everytime there was a reason to celebrate. Wouldn’t that be fun?

Cindy – We could all meet at Outlaw. That gorgeous piece of property where bassets run the farm! It would be so much fun.

I am sure Sarah love how I just drummed that up! LOL

All the bassets would be running and jumping and I will be in the isolation tank with Chaps. The grump!

Sarah has the best set up. She really does have isolation areas for those who need it. The Bassadorable was in one due to kennel cough. Himz all better now!

Well, Jethro and I would be in the isolation tank too. I call him Jethro the A-hole. I didn’t know Chaps was a grump. That’s funny. I’m surprised Chaps puts up with kids when you take him to places. I guess if you make the kids be nice it’s ok. Jethro likes pets and stuff but we had a kid at our house one day chasing him with a truck! I wasn’t inside at the time and when I came in Jethro had stopped running from the kid and was growling at him. Ronald (my husband) should have snapped and told the kid to stop since the kids Dad wasn’t paying any attention. This same kid had already been bitten once by a dog and the Dad sued! I sure didn’t want to have any part of that. Anyway, I stopped the kid and talked to Ronald after they left about watching kids around Jethro. I mean, Jethro doesn’t just attack unless your in his food begging spot. That’s another story. He usually gives a growl and a warning. He just doesn’t like to be messed with. Can’t say I blame him! Oz or Rugs would have just ran outside to get away from the kid. Not sure about Harriet but I wouldn’t trust her around kids either.
