I stayed up all night once to hear this song….

Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and staying up all night long lovers: OMG! I remember vividly staying up all night long back in 1969 to hear this song. I had my little transistor right by my ear. I was obsessed with this song.

The Spiral Starecase – More Today Than Yesterday, Mar ’69.

You have to check out the moves the bass player has…..LOL I am going to use them the next time I break out in song to the kids.

You ask why I am showing you this video? It is because I still love the song and I sing it Chaps and Emma more today than yesterday!

Maybe I should re-consider my singing???????????? I am driving off my fans!

Even though I was real young, I love all the songs from back then. And hey, is he lipsyncing? There’s no microphone and I’m sure they didn’t have those little ones that they wear now. Ha! Good video though. I loved watching it. Was that on the Ed Sullivan show? You know all the bands back then had their first TV appearance on the Ed Sullivan show or Lawrence Welk. LOL!!!

Is that Lawrence Welk statement meant for me?

I remember this song, it was always played at parties.

I’m not sure if that is the Ed Sullivan Show, but it could have been Shin Dig, Hula Baloo, or American Bandstand.

No Maureen, not meant for you! I don’t even know your age. But I do know that if you heard this song at parties you were coming up in the best musical era there ever was! Lucky you!
