strength, wisdom, calmness, fortitude and peace.

sometimes eyes only confuse things…if the above names qualities are there…then external vision isn’t really needed. emma’s got great internal vision…and an awesome soul.

she is a healer…and honestly i think it her best work is done sans eyes. it makes her calming and peacefulness so much more sensitive and intuitive.

now granted i have never been so fortunate to have met miss emma…but i would love too. i feel such a bond to her…she has such a calming influence on me and with all my health issues. i would love nothing better than to spend an afternoon outside in the sun under a shade tree with her just quietly sitting (sorry mayor). i think it would do the both of us good.

people tend to disregard how much we can leard from disabled dogs (or from dogs in general). i think its a matter of slowing down and watching & listening to the signs of communication.i’ve spent alot of time with deaf dogs and some with blind and i would take one in a heart beat…yeah its alot of work but once that bond is established its a bond like no other.

teach away miss emma. teach away!

Lois, your words are so beautiful. And so true. Miss Emma is a very special girl and Chaps is very special too because he’s always there to make sure that his Emma is ok.

I think Emma is a deep thinker. Emma always looks like she is evaluating something in her mind. I think Emma has a very special insight because she sees with sound, her heart and soul. I wish I did that more.
