Born with a silver spoon in her mouth…

Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and silver spoon lovers……

I had to laugh today when Grandma and I were going over to collect Enzo and Romeo from my sister’s home. We were talking about Chaps and Emma and how they are so different. OK, we were worried about how Chaps would react to Romeo.

Anyway, Grandma had me laughing so hard.

She said, “you have to remember that Emma was born with a silver spoon in her mouth.” Meaning our family got her, not that her breeder had anything to do with it….

She went on to say, “Chaps lived in a pound environment until we got him. He is from the “streets”.

It does make sense. And we had such a laugh.

Emma with a silver spoon in her mouth. Grandma is so funny and cute! However, she is totally spot on! This is Grandma with Emma on the way home from TX to KY with Miss Silver Spoon..

The Mayor fights for his rights. He is so possessive of his good fortune!

More silver spoons later…Love, Cat, Chaps, Enzo and Romeo!

Love Grandma’s Wisdom….she always has the perfect words to express any situtation….How is the gang doing at Camp Cat’s? OMG can’t believe how Romeo has grown…what a cutie. Give Chaps some extra french fries….may be that will help cheer him up. I know our “Litte Miss Silver Spoon” will be the perfect hostess.
    Enjoy your weekend.
Love Hugs and Drools to all!!!

That is so funny. Chaps is a real rags to riches story. From the mean streets to the head chair at Bassethound Town City Hall. They should make a movie of his life.

Happy Black Friday, everyone. Stay safe out there!

Chaps sounds just like Jethro. Jethro doesn’t care for any other creatures in his space except for his 2 best buddies Rugs and Taz the cat. It’s been a year and a 1/2 and he is tolerating Oz and Harriet but you can tell he doesn’t like it.

I agree with Candy, Mayor has worked his way up in life. He is someone our hounds look up too. I love the picture of Grandma with Emma. She was such a cute little lady and has grown up in to a beautiful girl.

Chaps is a real Horatio Alger story come to life. Hard work, determination (stubborn streak), and “The Look” have made him the wonderful hound he is today. And all these qualities make him the perfect mayor for Bassethound Town.

I would love to me the con man or woman that could put anything over on Mayor Chaps or Our Emma. They both have “street smarts” and they will never lose their “EDGE”!
