Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and Laying Under Your Favorite Tree Lovers! I know I am one of those!

Today as I was filming our favorite tree, the sky and the sun. I was on the best place on earth for me at that given time. I was laying on my back with the kids. Grandma was cracking me up. She said I was just like the kids, belly up!

Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and close up lovers of the Mayor Lovers! My sweet Mommy and I took the kids on a walk today. Today was also another special day, it would have been My Mom and Dad’s 57th wedding anniversary!

Oh, look howl cute they were. I am thrilled they found each other.

So today we got up early and walked to the park. I have a small video that I will post later but I wanted to share this.

My heart is just bursting. I am just so glad that we had this wonderful day for Grandma. I just love howl we all found each other!

Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and COMMERCIAL HATERS! I HATE COMMERCIALS! I can never understand howl companies pay for the junk that they use to market a product. I love mute, fast forward or anything that can get me past the mind numbingly, senseless, never ending commercials. Until this one comes on!

Hell to the Yeah! Makes me want to slap a burger on the grill and get my dance on! Weber got their money’s worth on this one.

So, being the ever wondering soul, I googled to see who did the song. Let’s be honest, it’s the song that makes the commercial! It’s called YOU LIGHT ME UP!

Turns out it is company called Open Sky.

They do a lot of music work like this. I bet their stock is rising in the industry. There seems to be a fair amount of buzz on the netz!

There is no full version, only the 30 seconds you see on the commercial!

Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and Needing a Good Movie Lovers! I have a romance classic for the residents tonight!

It is called SUMMERTIME! With Katherine Hepburn! Have you seen it? I had, about 20 years ago. It was playing on Tuner Classic Movies and I taped it and watched it last night. The intro with Robert Osborn stated, “After you watch this movie you will want to drive to the airport and fly away to Venice”! Boy oh boy was he right! They sure don’t make movies like this anymore.

I could not find a trailer but I did find this clip.

It was pure joy to watch this movie during a low rumbling thunderstorm with the Mayor not going crazy.

This is not an actual picture, but kind of howl we enjoyed the feature presentation together. Just look at my leading man! LOL!

I had my arm around him for most of the movie. There was some very soothing music in the movie so maybe that helped, not to mention the storm pill the Mayor had to take!

Robert Osborne was right! I wanted to go right to Venice! That is if I had a private jet so Chaps and Emma could go too! Wonder if we won the lottery tonight?

Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and Dennis The Menace Lovers! I was reading the funny papers this morning with the Mayor. I never miss Dennis The Menace. So today, Dennis had a very good question that I was able to answer!

Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and Chaps lovers: Well, the Mayor has been getting progressively worse with his loud sounds phobia. The poor thing was suffering terribly.

So I decided to try what my vet has been recommending for a long time. Xanax. My question to my vet was is for me or him? LOL!

We are under all kinds of storm alerts, watching, warnings and more so the Mayor was given his dose. This is his 4th storm on Xanax.

I am pleased to report that the Xanax has taken about 75% of the phobia away.

This picture was just taken a few minutes ago during medium thunder rumblings. Chaps got up from his side of the couch and moved to Emma’s side. (I don’t have a side.) I was sitting on the floor holding my breath. During normal medium thunder rumblings he would have been almost hyperventilating and trying to climb.

I tried everything and then I had to bring in the big guns.

Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and Google Earth Lovers……

Well, maybe not lovers, but whatever. So, earlier today I was googling my neighbor/slum lord and Google Earth came up. So, I was having fun checking out Basset Hound Town.

This is howl my home appears. Then you can zoom in and actually look in my windows!!!

Is that Emma in the window? Is Emma part of Google Earth? So, I took this shot into my edit area and did some fancy foot work!

See that light shadow in the left hand lower panel? I think that is our very own Emmers! It would not be impossible. That is where her bed is! LOL

What is even funnier, I think I saw the person take the picture. I thought it was the property tax assessment person. I guess it was the Google Earth person! Howl weird is that?
