Hellow Fellow Basset Hound and bassethoundtownrescue.com lovers!

bhtheader

I am adding this header to a new category (street) in our town! This is where I am going house all of the homeless bassets that our residents rescue and their stories.

I am also trying to figure out a tally page. I want to show what we have in our neighborhood basset hound town bank account. I think I might have my website guy link to a page right under the header. I will have to think about howl to do that the best. Every donation will be recorded on that page and howl to donate. Since I am not a 501(c)3 I cannot start a FirstGiving Page but I do have a paypal account.

Do you remember when I said that I wanted to start a fund for the next hound we want to save?

Well – we already have money in our account. As of today (and this will be on the page tally shortly, hopefully tonight.)

WE HAVE!

BJ Porter – 30.00

Donation overage from Frankie 20.00

10% discount off of Frankie’s bill from vet 35.00

Debra Holdcraft-Bach 20.00

Wanda Richlen – 5.00 (20.00 of the 25.00 she sent went to Frankie)

So, there you have it! 110.00! For our next hound! CAN YOU BELIEVE IT????

Bassethoundtown residents are the BEST!

More counting money later…..Love, Cat, Chaps and Emma

This is a great idea, from time to time I will try and remember to send a check to be put in the Basset Hound Town coffers, for the benefit of needy rescue hounds.

Also, I think it would be remiss of our Mayor if he did not give people a gentle reminder from time to time.

Basset Hound Town residents always want to give something back, and help houndies in need.

We hounds and their slaves must stick together. It warms the heart to see so many stepping up to help no matter how much or little we can give. With the world full of madness its a blessing to see those willing to help out those in need. God Bless everyone:)

How did I miss this post? This is fantastic! I suggested to Sophie that she should start charging people to pet her when we’re out walking and she could send the money to BHT-Rescue! She thinks we should charge double to anyone who things she’s a beagle! With ears and beauty like hers, no way is she putting up with being called a beagle!

🙂 My plan is to–and we could all–start a change jar (or another one, if we have one already) dedicated to the Bassethoundtown Rescue Fund and send the money in, even if it’s only 1/2 full. It’s painless, can become habit forming, and it doesn’t take much to get a nice amount of money for the Town’s rescue houndies!
