Accounting for TJ – I am impressed…..

July 14th, 2010 - 6:06 pm KY Time

Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and reviewing the bills lovers! Mostly, no one likes to review the bills but TJ’s bills are very impressive. Around here, I have not been able to find a vet that has this type of pricing. I will make it my mission to find one. I love being able to take the homeless to my vet. I wish he had a rescue price listing but if he is like everyone else, times are not that great for small business. I certainly understand that.

Here is the bill from the vet that offers rescue pricing…

The total is 148.50. You can click the image to look at the detail.

I also paid 50.00 to the woman that is going to transport TJ from Ashland, KY to Mid-Atlantic in Phillipsburg, NJ where Suzanne Fitch of Mid-Atlantic Basset Hound Rescue is going to pick him up. Get this! Suzanne already has a home for our boy, that is if you likes cats! The home is superior and is so hoping that TJ likes cats. We are still trying to figure that one out. TJ’s foster Mommy does not have cats. So, she is trying to answer this important question this week.

Here is the Paypal bill I paid from the BHT fund.

The only thing remaining is to get TJ from Stanford, KY to Ashland this Friday.

We had 110.00 in our bassethoundtownrescue.com fund.

We received 78.00 from Mary Tipping to add to the fund. That gave us a grand total of 188.00. TJ’s total bill was 198.00. Grandma and I donated 10.00 to make up the difference!

Then we got this picture from TJ’s Foster Mommy today! It looks like he is saying, “Thanks You Residents! I love my new town!

Wow! That place is awsome with prices! Our neuters in this area are around $85 or so. Yeah, it would be nice if you had a discount vetting place. I’m sure your vet would understand. Chaps and Emma would still go to your vet of course. I had to take Oz and Harriet to the rescue vet while I was fostering them but took my others to my other vet. The vets understand I’m sure.

Thanks so much Mary for the donation! Now we need to get some more money in the fund. I get paid this Friday. I’ll send ya $20 to sock away for the next lucky resident.

That is one great vet! I am so glad we were all able to help TJ.

Next payday, I will try and send a check to help build up Basset Hound Town’s Homeless Basset Hound Fund.

TJ is so special, I know there is someone special for him to adopt.

I am boosting up my “squirrel” fund–I am squirreling my change away to send it in to the BHT rescue fund when I get a nice amount saved:) It’s adding up quickly…
