Emma does it again! This time, a pillow nest…..

Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and Emma making a pillow nest lovers….
I never keep my pillows on the bed during the day. I just don’t want the hounds stinkin’ them up. Today, I just laid them on top of the arm of the couch instead of the usual place. Well, I guess that didn’t work!!!
Howl does our Emma do it? She pulled the pillows down and perfectly placed them for her ultimate comfort!
See what I mean about a stinkin’ hound? Stinkin’ smart hound! Oh Emmers……….

No pillows for the hounds? HOUND ABUSE! Amazing that she knew they were up there. That’s that nose of hers working. She smelled em up there!
I know what you mean about stinking em up tho. When we feel the need to buy new pillows I throw the old ones on the doggie pallet for the dogs to use when they lounge around. They all love laying their shoulders and head on em. And if there are 2 together you’d better believe that they take advantage and lay on both just like your Emma. What I do to keep down the hound smell is to throw them outside to air out. It really helps. Unless the hounds decide to lay on them outside. Ha!

I think Emma just tries to make your house a home. A home is all about comfort. You wouldn’t want people or Bassets to feel like they were in a museum or something where everything is roped off and there are “Do Not Handle” signs everywhere.
A Home always has a lived in feel to it.
