What a cool day!

Howllo Fellow basset hound and cool day lovers! Since the longest yard sale in the world starts 10 minutes away from us Grandma and I decided to check it out!

It starts in Covington, KY! Guess what? This is Grandma’s home town! So, as we were driving to the yard sale we took a trip down memory lane. OMD! Grandma’s Daddy was a barber shop owner! His name was Roy Loftus! Here is his barber shop!

Look at our Grandma standing at her Father’s shop. They also lived in the back on the first floor! I love it!

It was a pretty emotional photo shoot.

Of course I have been here before but Grandma never talks about herself too much.

Then we pressed on to the start of the Longest Yard Sale in the World! AKA…….a lot of junk!

Unless you find this secret treasure!

Basset Hound Salt and Pepper Shakers???? What???

IMG_8623

They were asking 17 dollars for the set and Grandma was ruthless! We got them for 10.00! LOL! She was my hero!

Look at the collar on this one!

I clutched my find thanks to Grandma! We forged onward to our local Mexican restaurant for a JUMBO Margarita!

Some days just come together perfectly…

More needing my hair cut later…Love, Cat, Chaps and Emma

I love those shakers! My sister just gave me a basset hound juice glass as a gift! The shakers look antique. As is the juice glass. I love old basset finds best of all. Tell your Mom good wheelin’ and dealin’!
