Emma is 3 shades whiter and blinding!

Howllo fellow Basset Hound and bath day lovers. OK, I am not one of those. I hate, hate, hate, bath day. It just is not bath day it is clean your entire home day. Ugh….

It is hard to take pictures but I captured this one off of a 16 minute video I took. It is too huge to upload to my blog and who would what to watch it? OK, it is pretty funny and if I could I would have shared it but again, it is too big. So, here is a capture I did off the video. We use a concrete mixing pan to wash the kids. I had my plumber add that hot and cold water attachment that I am using. The Mayor was so mad. I got the dirtiest look I have ever gotten in my life. It’s in the movie.

Poor Mayor…..

Here is Emma after her bath…

She has on her terry cloth snood that I designed and had made for her. We keep it on for a few minutes while she is drying. Look howl white she is! It was actually blinding!

Not to be left out, but he wishes he was, is Chaps in his same terry snood!

As you can see he is still mad…..

Butt Grandma tried to ease the pain…

More loving sweet smelling hounds later…Cat, Chaps and Emma

Love the clean basset butt shot. I’m sure the Mayor will forgive you after a few tots.

I am sure that they both got enough treats during spa day and the events leading up to it. How can you not spoil a hound when they take a bath. I am so jealous because both of mine really do need a bath. The hair is really coming off even after using the furminator! They do look great – looks like you used some bleach on Emma! Ha Ha

    hahaha Candy!

I tried for the first time Hartz Hypoallergenic Foaming Shampoo. I really liked it and it really did brighten up Emma’s coat to the point it looked like someone was shining a spot light on her. Also, the next morning when the sun was hitting Chaps’s coat it looked like someone had shellaced himz!

I watched your 10 minute video and Chaps didn’t seem mad or angry at all. I think he looked and felt like he was being indulged.

I hope Our Emma and the Mayor received some extra indulging treats because their behavior was excellent.

I’m sorry but I have to laugh at the mayor. Jethro gives me those looks too. He used to walk off but now he knows that I’m coming for him no matter where he goes.

Emma is just beautiful! And the mayor is, of course, as handsome as always. They’ll feel so much better. This is the time of year to do this that’s for sure. I need to get out and bathe mine!
