I must brag on our Emma!

Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and not minding that I am bragging on Emma lovers! Well, I guess you are probably used to it! LOL!

This morning I had to get up early for some appointments with Grandma. So, I was rushing around but not too much. The normal routine was done and I was back in my office making some phone calls.

Emma started doing her “come help me Mommy bark”. It’s a bark that we recognize and we rush to see what she wants. Well, this morning she was barking at the refrigerator. Now that was odd. She never does that. She knows our routine. Heck, she made up the routine.

So, I placated her and gave her another small piece of rye bread.

I remained baffled.

Get this…Turns out I forgot to give her an allergy pill that I bury in a lump of mashed potatoes. She was telling me that I forgot her potato pill! Can you believe it? I was telling Grandma about the odd turn of events and she said,

“did you give her an allergy pill this morning?” DUH!

I had just started this pill a few days ago after my vet looked her over during her teeth cleaning.

Can you believe it! I can! Emma is smarter than Mommy!

More mashed potato pills later! Love, Cat, Chaps and Emma

PS – Our appointment was for our mammograms! Don’t forget to get one gals, and if you are a man reading this, make sure the females in your life don’t forget!

Talk about MASHED POTATOES! Thanks Emma!

Well thank goodness Grandma knew what she wanted! Poor Emma. She needs better hired help!

I’m really bad, I haven’t seen a doctor since 2006. Seems as tho every time I go to make an appt something happens with Ronald. Oh well. I’ll get there some day.

Gotta make an appt first. My plans were to go to the doc and dentist this month but Ronald ended up getting sick on me. But, I promise I’ll go soon.
