The 3 worst words Chaps can hear, “Momma be back” the red shoes addition!

Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and the red shoes addition lovers….
Well, Chaps is not one of those. The 3 or 4 worst words our Mayor can hear are,
“Momma be right back:(”
These are the words I say when I am leaving without himz. He hates those words. He also hates the dreaded RED SHOES!
These are my pretty red summer slipper shoes that obviously are not made for walking hounds! Every time I put them on the Mayor goes into a funk!
Oh Mayor, Momma be back! The pretty red summer slipper shoes can belly rub!

I say the same thing! Only I say, “Mommy be back”. Early every Saturday morning (before the crazies come out) I got shopping at Wal-Mart. They know I do this every Saturday and that I bring home a good “catch” so they all lay around and just watch me go out the door. Any other time, they throw a fit!
Shoot, I even tell Bailey I’ll be right back when I take out the trash. Hmm….think our kids are spoiled?
Slinky doesn’t bark much especially when I leave for work, but when I come home in the evening she knows thats our time. Even if she doesn’t want to cuddle, she wants me around and likes to know where I am at. If I go out again in the evening after I have fed her and taken her out, she barks like crazy.
