OMD! I have wanted these boots since I graphically designed them for my sister back in 2006!

Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and graphically designed boot lovers! Back when I wrote the Lily book I was also graphically designing all of the pages. This is my sister’s page. This sister is a physician that lives in Atlanta. She is the sister we are going to go visit next week. Her son, Ronald, goes to VMI. Anyway, back to me and the boots I have always dreamed of! hehehe

See them on my sister, not to be mistaken for Lady GaGa! I was before my time! Anyway, back to the real world. I was walking through Target today and the skies parted…..LQQK!

THE BOOTS I GRAPHICALLY DESIGNED BACK IN 2006!

The only difference is they are plastic Wellies! I am even more excited! I have wanted a pair of cool Wellies for years! Now I have a reason to buy them! Walking hounds through the dewy blue ridge parkway!

That is if they wake up!

More loving hound’s tooth later…..Cat (big lover of hound’s tooth), Chaps and Emma

P.S. Do you think that this hoodie will go with the boots? Yes, I am obsessed with the Mayor!

P.P.S – I have about 6 more of these in different colors and designs. Thank you Grandpa!

Love the boots and love it when stuff like this happens! If you had gone specifically to find such boots, you would have walked for days and come back empty-footed.

Also, love CHAPS the Mayor and CHAPS the sweatshirt!

OM – I know, it was kismet. Grandma and I were walking fast to get to the check out. She had found a cool hoodie and I had a duffel bag. We were making tracks because it was close to feeding time. Emma goes crazy as we all know. Out of the corner of my eye I spotted the boots! It was too funny. I grabbed the back of Grandma’s shirt!

Get this…I have them on right now, practicing! They feel good! I cannot wait to get dew on them! hehehe

You’re a wonderful little kid, Cat! We love ya!!

Hannah’s been pretty sick today, and I had a little moment like you did. I was running through a little pharmacy picking up tissues and vicks, when I saw a “Hello Kitty” box on the shelf. It had a cute handle on it and was filled with FIVE different “Hello Kitty” coloring, activity and puzzle books! Just the perfect thing for a little girl not feeling well … even better was it was on clearance for just a couple of bucks! It has been the perfect quiet activity for a day of runny nose and fever.

You be careful grabbing grandma’s shirt! She’s just a little sprite! 😀

Oh, OM! I love you! Tears in eyes. I am the daughter and you are the Mom. We get it from both levels. Grandma is so slight. I am so happy that she is with me everyday. Just like Hannah is happy you are with her everyday.

I love your story so much. ((((((((us)))))))))

It is the little moments – the perfect boots, or the perfect sick-day activity books – that are special and memorable.

I miss my mom a lot, so I’m very glad you share Grandma with us.

    Many hugs.

((((((((((((onemom))))))))))) Love, Grandma! I know she would approve of that hug!

Love the boots! Love the hoodie! Your are going to be stylin’! I know you can’t wait for that trip. I can’t blame ya. I’d be excited too. I hope you got home in time for Emma’s feeding. Poor Emma!

OM, tell Hannah that Jethro, Rugby, Ozzie and Harriet are sending her bunches of houndy hugs so that she’ll get better.

Thanks for the Texas houndy hugs! Hannah’s still feeling rotten this morning, so we’ll have another quiet day. I’m just glad I don’t have to work today so I can stay home with her.

Poor Hannah – I hate to hear she feels rotten. Give her a big hug from the kids and I……sigh…..
