I have only seen the trailer which I have provided for you. It looks like a cute little kid movie. If anyone has seen it or ever sees it let me know howl the basset hound is involved. That cracks me up! A hound on the high seas? hehehe

    Debbie,

I have this movie also and I remember it as the basset didn’t get nearly enough screen time. I thought it was a really dumb movie, not well directed nor even a real plot. But that being said, it has a basset who does the best acting of all the characters.

Thinking of basset movies. Does anyone else have The Duke?
It is about a Duke in England who leaves his dukedom to his black and tan coon hound. And the coon hound’s girlfriend is a maid at the local pub – she is a pretty basset hound named Daisy.
This is also a kids movie with an evil nephew, a love interest of the butler’s granddaughter with a peer, and the nephew kidnapping Daisy.

I sure wish there were more movies made starring our favorite bassets.

If you like bloodhounds, rent a movie called “Johnny and Clyde.” Also one thing most people don’t know about the Sawtooth Island movie, is that it gave drama students the opportunity to do a real movie with a major star (Ernest Borgnine who kind of mentored these students) I guess I enjoyed it more because of that.

Wow Debbie! I did not realize that. Howl cool! I want to buy the movie and have it in my collection. I will also look into Johnny and Clyde. I love blood hounds. My Dad was also partial to them. If I have more money and a bigger place I would love to have one some day. I will never be without bassets, never.
