Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and sleeping to help the homeless lovers…..
Today, as I have blogged about earlier, the Basset Hound Town Rescue Fund received some doe! Another donation we received is from Chaps’ family in TX. FIFTY BUCKS!
Here we have a sleeping marathon to help the homeless…..
This is Richard and Bailey. Clancy is laying in his Mom’s lap elsewhere in the house and did not make the picture but is still participating in the sleeping marathon.
Next we have the Mayor’s son, Colby Chaps! His Mommy Audra was searching everywhere for himz!
Momma was scouring around the home and in the back yard for himz. The closet door was closed and the light turned out! Momma finally found himz!
You can see howl hard he was sleeping for the homeless!
It’s all for a good cause! The Mayor’s son’s can log some sleep time!
Sleeping for a cause! We love it! I think Colby Chaps won the marathon!
We cannot thank you enough for the 50 winks…Or…..I mean bucks! hehehe

Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and Pupzilla Lovers. I just love giving a shout out to the hounds that give some doe to our BHT homeless account. It was so much fun to go to the PO box today and get some doe! I was laughing and skipping all the back to my BHV! Woot, Woot!

Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and Patty Lovers. Well, today Emma went out to lay in the sun which I should have never let her do. It was just too hot. Grandma was in the basement and saw her laying on the hot pavers and and hollered up to me, “Get Emma inside now, her patty looks burnt!”
Sure enough the patty was beet red. Grandma grabbed some cold rags and placed them on the patty and her pits.
Then we laid the cool rags on her body which was burning up.
She was really, really red. Turns out she just had a pretty bad heat rash and after we cooled her down her patty came back to near pristine state.
Boy did I get a long ear full from Grandma. That was too close for comfort.

She is so clean she blends in with the bed! Pretty soon she will find her way to my bed. I love sleeping with a clean girl! hehehe

Howllo fellow Basset Hound and bath day lovers. OK, I am not one of those. I hate, hate, hate, bath day. It just is not bath day it is clean your entire home day. Ugh….
It is hard to take pictures but I captured this one off of a 16 minute video I took. It is too huge to upload to my blog and who would what to watch it? OK, it is pretty funny and if I could I would have shared it but again, it is too big. So, here is a capture I did off the video. We use a concrete mixing pan to wash the kids. I had my plumber add that hot and cold water attachment that I am using. The Mayor was so mad. I got the dirtiest look I have ever gotten in my life. It’s in the movie.

Here is Emma after her bath…
She has on her terry cloth snood that I designed and had made for her. We keep it on for a few minutes while she is drying. Look howl white she is! It was actually blinding!
Not to be left out, but he wishes he was, is Chaps in his same terry snood!
As you can see he is still mad…..

Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and nice day lovers…Well, Friday was sure one of those. In anticipation of our Saturday Spa day Grandma and I walked the kids to the park. Of course I took my furminator! It was a gorgeous day!
If you are wondering why the kids are looking at me with such love in their faces, wonder no more…It was hunger!
Momma always carries treats to the park! The white bag in the tree is a bag of water. We always stop near the water fountain.
Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh………Peace, Love, Drool and Rye Bread!
What a lovely spot to love on the kids and get some furminating done in anticipation of spa day!
I did the heavy lifting and furminated Chaps………..
Grandma did our petite flower, Emma. She said it was like raking bones.
