Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and Summer Movie Lovers…..

This past weekend Julian, Grandma and I set off for the movies! Before we left, Grandma had to whisk broom the hound hairs off of her Grandson! Tehehehe

Emma…“What hound hairs? Are they white?”

We went to see Tornado Alley at the Omni Max Theater at the Union Terminal! We rated it 4 paws up!

Our weather was beautiful for once!

But the weather for Tornado Alley, not so much!

OH MY DOG! I had goose bumps the entire time. I loved it and so did Julian and Grandma. Chaps, would have HATED IT! No Thundershirt in the world would have got him though this movie.

Can you imagine having this as a basset hauling vehicle?

It was so much fun!

After the movie we went up to tower A in Union Terminal and viewed the switching yard. That was pretty cool as well!

A good time was had by all and it was back to the basset hauling vehicle.

More summer movie picks later……Love, Cat, Chaps and Emma

P.S. – Has anyone else seen it?

I haven’t heard of this movie at all. I am waiting for Harry Potter, and I have been wanting to go see the new Pirates of the Carribbean movie.

I s Thunder Alley like the movie Twister.

Maureen – It is a documentary. Go to the website that I linked to. It is so interesting. See if it is in your area! I bet it is!

Cat, that film isn’t going to make you more scared when storms come through? I know it would me! But, I haven’t seen it so maybe it doesn’t scare ya?

Cindy – I was enthralled with the film. On the edge of my seat, jumping with every crack of thunder. It was amazing. I love storms but these types of storms really freak me out. I have not been able to enjoy a t-storm for 2 decades due to Lily and Chaps! Sigh….

    Hi Cat,

I followed the link at PWSux to your blog, and I’m loving the bassets. What beautiful beasties! The family who runs the kennel I use for Sherman when I’m out of town has two rescued bassets: I’m going to recommend she read your blog.

As a fellow Element driver, I salute you!

I have the bright green one! We joke that it looks like a kleenex box and is booger coloured. It’s also so awesome for the dog because of the no carpet thing.

    Teeeeeheeeeeeeeheheheh

booger vehicle! Yes, I even haul my sister’s English Mastiff (200 pound) around! PERFECT!

Oh, and there are some boogers after that!

I am sure the Mayor was not happy just knowing the movie was in the area.
