Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and walking Basset Hound Lovers.  OMDawg it has been a month of Sundays since we had the kids out walking.  I am so excited about the weather tomorrow I hope I can sleep tonight.  We are going for our first walk in what seems like forever.  The kids need it so bad. We all do!

Basset hounds are not bears that hibernate.  It just is not right or a natural state.

Wake up Mayor…come out of your den!

I am so excited to think that the 70’s will be here all week. The weather guy said that it will get cold again but that winter is over!! It will be so awesome to get the guys out in the sun tomorrow! Here comes spring!!

What fun! It’s supposed to be in the 80’s in my area but there’s a small chance for showers all week too. I wish I could get Ronald to help me walk the dogs. Maybe when we retire it’ll be easier to get him off the couch. We go to fun outings sometimes at dog parks but not too often. Then about every other month we go to get the nails trimmed. That’s an outing that nobody likes!

Have fun! Can’t wait to see where the road trip takes ya.

We just came back from our first walk of the season! It’s 52 degrees here and the sun is shining!! What a nice break from the cold up here. Hannah even opened up her sandbox (good thing it has a cover because it’s likely winter is not over). She had her bike out and is making plans to cover the driveway in chalk pictures tomorrow. Dogs are passed out from the exertion and joy.

Slinky is definitely a house dog. Slinky is all about comfort. Slinky does enjoy a good walk and sniffing everything along the way, but she favors a warm comfortable spot to lay in with the sun shinning on her.
