Howlin’ at the Super Moon – Tonight!

Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and Super Moon Lovers…
Tonight is some great moon viewing and don’t mean these kinds!
OK, I just came in from taking a few picture of the super moon rising over the sky across the street.
I first saw it at about 9:00pm.
Of course the Mayor was watching me watch the super moon! He was in his super worry bed!
One more shot of the whole super moon. It was much better in person but I thought I would super share!

From what I read on NASA’s website, it won’t appear it’s biggest until 11:35pm ET.
OM – I saw that as well. It was sooooo cool rising across the street. I wanted to scream to the kids playing basketball, “look at the moon, look at the moon”, but I didn’t want to scare the my kids! hehehe
We stayed up, but the clouds rolled in about 11:15 and we didn’t get to see it. 🙁
Oh, that is such a bummer OM. I wonder if it will be just a big tonight. I really was hoping that Hannah could see it. Dang it!
We went out about 10:35 and saw it really well. It was partly cloudy but the clouds weren’t in the way. It lite up the whole place almost like it was daytime. So cool. I wish Hannah could have seen it too.
Well, the rain has moved in here and looks to hang around for a few days. We did see it at moon rise last night, and Hannah loved how bright the moon was – we sang all the “moon” songs we could think of.

My favorite is Moon River. Love that song. That was a great idea to sing all of those moon songs! Love that!
They say that the night the Titanic sank it was a super moon. Wow!
