Emma Wanda Rudert – The Movie…
July 7th, 2012 - 8:08 pm KY Time
Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and YouTube Lovers…I have been working on a video to celebrate Emma for awhile now. It was hard to settle on a somewhat short video but I think this is very fitting. I found a way to honor every year of her life with one of my favorite pieces of music.
More loving our girl later…Cat, Chaps and darling Emma ATB
PS – Music is Simple Minds – A Brass Band in African Chimes

What a beautiful video in memory of our beautiful little girl. Emma was a true picture of perfection in her 8 short years but her memory will live with us forever.
Cat, that was so pretty….Emma never took a bad photo! I always looked forward to those beautiful Birthday Photos….. I’ll say it again, Emma touched so many lives with her Sweet, sweet spirit! I am going to miss her too. I can’t begin to imagine what you must be feeling…..I know you are staying strong for Chaps & Grandma…..remember to take care of YOU too, I love you!
Dear Cat, Grandma and sweet Chaps,
What a beautiful tribute to Early Morning Misty Air!!! Sure made me cry and my heart goes out to ALL of YOU!
Beautifully and brilliantly done Cat. Emma filled the world with her sweetness … thank you for letting us get to know her and love her.
Audra, Colby CHAPS and Abby,
Would you please share with us how Colby Chaps is feeling today??? We wish him well! Gabrielle
Stunning, beautiful, majestic and more. I wish I could have met Emma in person but feel like I have met her by reading your blog. That was a great tribute. I’m sure you’ll make more videos of our Emma in the future.
I’m worried about Chaps. I hope he’s doing ok.
Yes, I agree Audra. We need an update on my granddog.
Cat, Would you please share with us how our Mayor is getting along; hope he is well and we wish him many sweet kisses and a barrel full of belly rubs, I know this is hard on all of you and bassets seem to be in tune with their owner. Lots of love from all of us to all of you!
Gabrielle – of course I will. I will try to do that to very soon. Another batch of t-storms moving into bassethoundtown. Wow, we need it but the Mayor does not.
What a wonderful video. Our Emma touched so many peoples and pets lives that it is quite a monument to her that everyone responded with such lovely comments.
I remember each of these great pictures of Emma. What a nice remembrance you have put together for her. Just beautiful.
What a joy and beauty. Thank goodness for Emma. Any time with her was always going to be too short. That’s how it always is with dear friends.
